RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN
MEADOWBROOK AND TOLLAND FALLS EQUESTRIAN CENTER
Meadowbrook was created as a division of Tolland Falls Ventures to meet the need for a quality retirement facility that included suitable pastures and reliable daily monitoring and care. By designating land that is used only for the purpose of retirement we can offer something unique for those horses that are not in work.
Whether your horse is young or old, we provide sanctuary for horses that are temporarily or permanently retired due to soundness issues, injured and/or recovering horses, young horses before they have matured to training age or horses that have simply worked hard and deserve to be “just a horse”.
Meadowbrook also offers a boarding option that includes access to an inside stall at night. This option is meant for those horses not quite ready for full retirement or for horses, due to health reasons, that have a need for access to an inside stall. We have a limited number of stalls available in our Meadowbrook barn and this boarding package includes services similar to those at the Main Training Facility.
Although the Tolland Falls Equestrian Center and Meadowbrook are physically adjacent and they share the same trail system, they are run as separate entities. The amenities of one facility do not cross over to the other. This insures that there is adequate capacity for the services offered and it insures fairness relative to the pricing of our services for all customers. Boarders may have individual horses at one or both facilities, but they only have the right to use the facilities at the location of each horse for that specific horse.
Please note that it is our policy to give current boarders priority on admittance when an opening becomes available at either Tolland Falls or Meadowbrook.
