Susan D. Tinder – Owner

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Sue showed Quarter Horses in her early years. She then went on to a twenty five year career in accounting and finance holding such positions as Treasurer for LCI International, Inc., Managing Director for McLernon and Associates, Ltd., Controller for the Rummler-Brache Group, Ltd. and Executive Vice President for Dynegy Inc.

Following the sale of a telecom broadband company that she helped found, Sue retired from corporate life and once again made her way back into the horse world. She purchased what is now Tolland Falls in 2003 and continues to evolve the ranch into one of Colorado's premier equestrian facilities.

Sue currently shows her horses, Five Nines and Braxton, in the Adult Amateur Hunter Division.

 
     

Bruce A. Thompson II – Farm Manager

Born in Wyoming, raised in Colorado, Bruce is highly proficient in the operation and management of horse farms. He has managed both breeding and boarding farms with responsibility for the care of horses, clients, staff, buildings, grounds, equipment and all aspects of farm work. He has been in charge of broodmare management, foaling and foal care, stallion handling, sales prep and horse health.

Bruce came to Tolland Falls from Franklin, Tennessee, where he was the Farm Manager responsible for all day to day operations of Green Pastures Farm. Green Pastures Farm is a 600 acre equestrian center with 60 horses stalled in five barns and over 25 pasture horses. Bruce has also transported horses commercially and holds a Class A CDL license.

Bruce resides on the premises at Tolland Falls with his wife, Carrie and daughter, Hanna. He owns two Quarter Horse mares, Maggie and Darlin’.
